Bic Soleil Shaver Review

I received my BIC Soleil shavers from Smile.ly 360 last week and have used it a couple times and love it! It glides on so smoothly, leaving no cuts or scrapes, no razor burns, its wonderful! It left my legs so soft and the hair didn't grow back right away, like a lot of other disposable shavers tend to do to me. The blades are a good size, making shaving feel quicker and covering more width of your skin. I'm so glad that I got to review these shavers because I have been searching for a new kind that does well to me. And I think I just found a new favorite!!! :)

Bic Soleil is doing some fantastic giveaways too! You can enter to win, at their SITE, for a chance to win cool prizes like a $1,000 gift card or a vacation!

Untamed - Book Review

Lisa Harper wrote the book "Untamed" and on the cover she wrote "How the Wild Side of Jesus Frees Us to Live and Love with Abandon" and has a picture of a woman with her arms wide open, standing at the beach. I feel like the cover is what drew me in to be interested in reading this book, but I have to say a was a bit disappointed in the actual words inside. The cover made me think the book was going to be about letting yourself be free spirited, giving your life to God and being wild on His side. I had a really hard time getting into this book because I feel like there were way too many Bible verses quoted. I'm not into that because I feel like if I want Bible verses, I would just read the Bible. Now other readers may feel different and that's perfectly fine. But for my own opinion, it just wasn't my style of reading. I did however read the entire book and at times, when Harper wrote about her life situations, I was interested in reading more! But once the Bible verses began appearing a lot again, I lost interest; and because of that, I don't have a lot to say for this book review. Before choosing this book to review, I didn't get the chance to read the back of the book. It states that "Lisa Harper is known for combining solid biblical teaching with comedic wit and masterful storytelling." Which now makes perfect sense to me as to why she added in so many Bible verses :P This book may be good for some readers who are interested in reading more on Bible verses! But just not quite a book for me :)

Chickadee Winnings

I won McCormick food coloring from Chickadee Twitter Chat through Gather! They even sent me some cool stickers to go along with; my son very much enjoyed :)

They had perfect timing too because I needed green food coloring for my son's Ninja Turtle Cake and the stickers went along great for his birthday party too-for the kids to decorate their cardboard swords for the "pin the sword in the Ninja Turtles hand" game :)

It Must Be June

I love the month of June. It's always filled with busyness...fun busyness :) From birthday parties, to graduations and my sons birthday!! My son turned 4 on the 9th! I can't believe how fast time flies when you're a mama. Seems like it wasn't that long ago, that I was preparing for his birth. Time flies. Anyways, he requested for a Ninja Turtle theme party and that's just what I gave him! :) Ninja Turtle Pinata, cake, masks, decorations, and fun! It was great. And now its back to Monday..with the only upcoming events to plan for-until Christmas- is July 4th. (and maybe some random fun holidays here and there hehe)

My brothers graduation (seats were limited which caused the huge pole in the middle of the photo lol)

Prefense Hand Sanitizer

Prefense is an alcohol free, foaming Hand Sanitizer which is highly effective in germ killing. When rubbed into your hands, the main active ingredient dries into an invisible film which protects against pathogens and continues to work through 10 hand washings! Prefense contains a moisturizing Silica complex which doesn't dry your skin out, like a lot of other hand sanitizers and that is because it does not contain alcohol. Alcohol based sanitizers only dehydrate the germ cell walls, leaving your hands vulnerable to reinfect but Prefense slices the cell wall of bacteria, making germs be destroyed on contact.
This is a water-based sanitizer that has easy pump use, that puts foam into your hand making it more fun and allows the perfect amount each time.
Prefense, keeping kids safe and the germs at bay!

You can check them out at their website:

For a chance to win your own big 8oz Prefense which offers 640 applications! Please leave me a comment saying why you would love to win your very own Prefense hand sanitizer.
