Fiver Finger Tees TShirts

Fiver Finger Tees have a wide variety of Men and Women's t-shirts and hoodies to choose from, at great prices too! Each shirt is professionally screen printed in the U.S. on soft preshrunk 100% cotton shirts with double-needle stitching throughout, and a seamless rib at the neck. They have an assortment of colors, sizes, and styles, one to suit any personality!
I received the Eat.Sleep.Game tshirt to review

I chose this t-shirt because it fits my husband perfectly. He's such a busy guy, between work, being an insomniac, and growing his live stream, he rarely finds the time to fit in a nap, let alone eat! I chose the t shirt in XL and in the color Navy Blue, as that is my husbands favorite color. (for some reason my photo to the right makes it look purple. In real life it is actually more like the above shown, a dark navy blue) He wears it well and says it is very comfortable :)

You can find more information on Five finger Tees and shirt varieties at www.fivefingertees.com and make sure you visit them on Facebook and Twitter

Now for the giveaway..

Sponsored: Get a head start on head lice this back-to-school season – Visit ExpertAdviceOnLice.com

The below content is sponsored by Sanofi Pasteur’s Headfirst! Expert Advice on Lice campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting
I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

It’s almost that time again!
The back to school season is just around the corner, and with that comes
preparing for a new teacher, a new classroom and a new year.

One thing that parents may not prepare for is … head lice! The truth of the matter is, head lice are
common and can happen to any child. An estimated 6 to 12 million infestations occur each year in the
U.S., which means many parents are likely to experience firsthand how lice can impact their children,
families or friends.

Unfortunately, head lice are common in elementary schools – about one out of every 100 elementary
school children becomes infested. Many parents may not know where to turn for accurate information.

Now here’s the good news: there is a website available to provide you with all the information you
need when your child gets that dreaded letter home from school, or if you just want to learn more to
be prepared. ExpertAdviceOnLice.com is driven by experts who are also moms, so they get it. The
website features basic information on the little critters, including symptoms, diagnosis, prevention and treatment options:

· The How to Lose the Lice Guide, with a handy checklist to save time
and reduce stress when battling head lice
· The Headfirst! Lice Experience video allows you to choose your experience,
whether it be you’re not sure you have lice, or you just want to get rid of them::

It’s important to remember the most common way to spread head lice is head-to-head contact.
Thinking ahead with things like checking with parents before slumber parties to find out if anyone
recently had lice, or teaching your child to avoid sharing brushes or hats is a good start.
So if you are trying to get rid of head lice, or a parent who always likes to be prepared,
visit Headfirst! Expert Advice on Lice for more information.

Urgent Rx Fast Powders Review

Another item from the Good Life Vox Box, UrgentRx Fast Powders, which are credit card sized packets filled with flavored powder medication. You take the UrgentRx by itself, no water needed, just swallow the powder much like you would a pixie stick.

UrgentRx comes in different flavors, each for a different symptom to relieve:

  • Lemon-Line for Headache Relief
  • Mixed Berry for Heart Burn Relief
  • Raspberry for Allergy Attack Relief
  • Lemon-Lime for Aches & Pains Relief
  • Cherry for Upset Stomach Relief
  • Lemon-Lime for Critical Care Relief (like a heart attack)
In my Vox Box, I received the Lemon-Line for Aches & Pains. I let my husband try this out when he got home from a long day of work. He had a headache and was tense from his day so it was a great time to test this. One of the 1st things he noticed is, though the package says you can rip it open, it was a struggle to get that thing open without scissors and if someone has a bad headache, the last thing they're going to think about is how to get the package open lol. Once he cut it open with the scissors, he emptied the powder into his mouth. He said it left a weird after taste on his tongue and it didn't do anything for him. He seems resistant to most pain relievers
though so this might work well for someone else!

UrgentRx Fast Powder Packets sell for retail price of $1.39 a packet.
You can find more information about UrgentRx on Facebook and Twitter

Kashi Hummus Crisps Review

As a member of Bzzagent, I was sent Kashi's new Sea Salt & Olive Oil Hummus Crisps to review. These crisps are a healthier change to chip eating; made of chickpeas, real sea salt and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, with a sprinkling of parsley. They have 6 grams of Whole Grains, 4 grams of Fiber, and 3 grams of Protein in every 27 chips. They are free from partially hydrogenated oil, high fructose corn syrup or unneeded artificial yuckiness.

These chips have an subtle flavor to them, much like rice cakes, but without the sprinkled parsley, I probably wouldn't like them. I do like how thin and airy they are and love that fact that they're better for you then normal chips, and that they're not overly salty. It's also a plus that my son likes them!
Like most chips or snacky foods, the more you eat them, the more you like them
...and next thing you know, they're addicting lol.
I would love to try their other flavors: Caramelized Onion and Sun-dried Tomato, Basil and Feta.

You can find more information on Kashi products by visiting
their website and liking them on Facebook.

This post is made possible by Bzzagent in providing me the above products to test and review. All opinions are my own.

Cystex-Are You Kegeling Now?

Are you making sure you're taking care of your bladder health?
Cystex and doing Kegeling exercises daily, will help you get your bladder stronger and healthier!
What is Kegeling you might ask?
Kegeling is when you squeeze and hold your pelvic floor muscles up an in.
Doing this repeatedly for ten seconds, up to three times a day.
Check out the video on Kegeling here:
Did you know that UTI's affect more then 60% of women? It is the 2nd most common infection found in the body, with a 40% chance of recurring. A study found that Cystex has helped 91% of women who have taken it daily, and remained free of recurring UTI's since.

What makes Cystex so great? It contains a formula of natural cranberry concentrate, which disables the cell structure of E. Coli bacteria, by inhibiting their ability to stick to the wall of the urinary tract. D-Mannose which is an active ingredient found in cranberries that increases the resistance of bacteria. Bromelain is a natural anti-inflammatory found in pineapples that increases antibiotic effectiveness and aids in digesting protein. Vitamin C helps maintain adequate urine acidity, making it less tolerable for bacteria to hang out in, and FOS (inulin) which is a prebiotic that stimulates the growth of bifidobacteria in the colon, reducing the number of E. Coli bacteria. With just one tablespoon of Cystex a day (or 2 for those who are already battling a UTI), you can get your bladder healthy and back on track.

I received a bottle of Cystex to try and have been taking a tablespoon a day since I've received it. The flavor is great, much sweeter then drinking straight cranberry juice, but it burns the throat when going down. I found that if I drink water quickly after, it's just fine. And you want to make sure you're drinking lots of liquids throughout the day, as you should, to help flush bacteria out. While taking Cystex, I find myself feeling dehydrated if I'm not drinking enough, and my mouth starts to feel dry. Works as a great reminder to keep me drinking water throughout the day though! ;) I also received a Kegeling shirt to wear as a great reminder and way to share with others about Kegeling.

One special reader can win you're very own Kegeling shirt too!

Maple Topped Oven Pancake+Recipe

If you're looking for a delicious and easy breakfast idea, the Maple Topped Oven Pancake should be made!! Awhile back, I was looking for a different breakfast idea and came across this recipe on Betty Crocker. It's delicious, sweet, and spongy!
 To make it, you need:
1/2cup packed brown sugar
1/3cup margarine or butter
1/2cup maple-flavored syrup
1 1/2cups Bisquick® Original baking mix
1/4cup packed brown sugar
1cup milk

2eggs
                                                                                        Maple-flavored syrup, if desired

Steps copied straight from Betty Crocker:
  • Heat oven to 350ยบ. Heat 1/2 cup brown sugar, the margarine and syrup in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted.
  • Pour into ungreased rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches.
  • Beat remaining ingredients in medium bowl, using wire whisk or fork, until blended.
  • Carefully pour over syrup mixture.
  • Bake uncovered 30 to 35 minutes or until top springs back when touched in center.
  • Cut into 3-inch squares; turn each square upside down onto plate.
  • Serve immediately, with maple-flavored syrup.

Served with drizzled maple syrup, muffin tin eggs, and sausage links.

The Vitamin Shoppe-Garcinia Cambogia Review

The Vitamin Shoppe Garcinia Cambogia, is a weight management product made to support appetite control. It is derived from the fruit rind of a small tree that grows in Southeast Asia. The extract of the rind is a pale brown powder that is soluble in ethanol and water, and contains 60%  hydroxycitric acid (HCA). The way Garcinia Cambogia works, is it modifies the process of converting sugar into fat, and stops the formation of new fat cells. It is made to suppress appetite, encouraging you to eat less and give up snacking. The HCA in it may also help decrease levels of stress and improve your mood, which in turn helps reduce emotional eating. There are some side effects of using Garcinia Cambogia, with the most common ones of: it could cause headaches, nausea, and digestive tract discomfort. As always, consult a physician before using if you are pregnant, nursing, taking other medications, or have medical conditions.

Though weightloss would be terrific, I'm not sure how I feel about using Garcinia Cambogia. I don't really want to suppress my appetite as eating 3 healthy meals a day, with a small snack throughout, is just fine to do. It's what you eat, including portion size, and how often you exercise, that will really give you the results you want.

Nonni's THINaddictives Review

Another Good Life Vox Box item, Nonni's THINaddictives are thin, chewy, and crunchy cookies that contain cranberries and almonds. They're only 100 calories for a pack of 3 cookies, great for those sweet tooth cravings. When I bit into mine, it had a very familiar taste to it, but I just couldn't pin point what that taste was. I was thinking it was like some sort of cupcake I've had before. The flavor of these are ok, something you might have to build a liking to. My son liked them right off the first bite..other then the cranberries and almonds...two things he doesn't like lol. He just picked them out and called it good! Said they taste like Fortune cookies..which I can see the connection! I like that Nonni's Thinaddictives are a healthy treat that you can eat without feeling too guilty, and that they are made from real ingredients like wheat flour, real dried fruits and whole almonds.

Nonni's THINaddictives are available for purchase of the retail price $3.99 for a box of 6 packages. You can find more about Nonni's on their Facebook page and Twitter.

Extra Large Ice Ball Mold Review

The Extra Large Epica Ice Ball Mold makes large 2.2" diameter ice balls, that are made to keep your drinks cold, even longer then the little ice cubes do! Because of their large size, the ice isn't being fully submerged into the liquid, so the ice isn't melting as fast as it would if it was completely submerged. This makes your drink taste better even longer, since the ice isn't melting to dilute your tasty beverage! The ice ball is great for drinks that need the right balance of flavor, drinks like whiskey, sangria, iced tea or soda.

The ice ball mold is made of silicone which is BPA free, easy to clean and can be washed in a dishwasher. Being that it is made of silicone, it is sturdy enough to hold water, by pouring through the hole on top, and flexible enough to easily pop the ice balls out once frozen. My son helped me fill it up so even a kid can do it. It is made to last years upon on years and comes with a 2 year warranty.

Not only can you use the ice mold for making water ice balls...but you could also put any type of liquid into it to freeze! If you are making a big bowl of punch for a party, you could fill several ice ball mold's with the punch, and add food coloring for a color contrast drink! (much like I did for my Halloween punch!) Or if you are having a clear beverage like Vodka, Sprite or 7Up, make multiple colored ice balls for a really fun and colorful party beverage! There's a lot of fun ideas you could use these ice balls with...make a mixture of fruits, juice and yogurt and pour it into the balls, freeze, and place on an ice cream cone for a healthier Summer treat! Or freeze chicken broth balls for a nice soup cooler, and maybe as a treat for someone with strep throat?!... The ideas are almost endless, I'm going to have a lot of fun with this!

You can purchase an Extra-Large Ice Ball Silicone Double Mold on Amazon for a retail price of $19.95 that includes two of the ice ball molds.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

New-Skin Liquid Bandage Review

Another review from my Influenster -The Good Life Vox Box...New-Skin Liquid Bandage, made to cover and protect your skin. It's just as it says, a liquid bandage that your spray on your cut or wound, but it contains first aid antiseptic, so it not only shields your wound as a band-aid would, it also cleans it out for you. A two in one! When you spray the New-Skin liquid bandage on your wound, it dries rapidly, forming a tough protective cover, still allowing your skin to breathe, and also being flexible and waterproof. Sounds like a great product for camping or trips to the park!

I haven't had the opportunity to fully test New-Skin Liquid Bandage out, since there hasn't been any owies lately...but I did try it on my husbands toe when he had a painful hangnail. (didn't think you'd want to see a pic of that..) I sprayed it on his big toe and he said it was cold and stung a little bit. It also had a really strong scent to it which I didn't like.  I will update when we use it in a different circumstance..not that I'm wishing any owies on anyone.. :P But it seems like a great product to have on hand, especially for those who find and allergy to the latex in ordinary band-aids, or those who cannot handle the feeling of pulling a band-aid off when it is no longer needed! To remove the liquid band-aid, you spray another coating, then quickly wipe it off and it should remove. Sounds strange to me... But there's pro's and con's to using this. Though it removes the fun of a band-aid making your owie feel better....
it is a pretty convenient product!

New-Skin Liquid Bandage is available for purchase at the retail price of $7.29 and should last you a long time. You can find more information on their Facebook page and Twitter.

Making Art From Cereal Boxes

I made this really cool project decor for my kitchen today,
to enter the All You Magazine contest to win a $25 gift card to Michael's.

I began by tracing & cutting out stars from a cereal box and. I scored the middles of each star triangle and folded slightly to give it the 3D look. I painted these with white paint and scratched the line part with my nail to give it a rustic look. While the paint was drying, I drew letters with a ruler, onto the rest of the cereal box, to spell out: EAT. I cut these out and wrapped them in designer contact paper. Once everything was dry and finished, I placed them above my Kitchen window!! A very easy and fun craft!
