HERSHEY KISSES ~ Milk Chocolate ♡

HERSHEY KISSES in Milk Chocolate... my favorite part of the Influenster J'Adore Vox Box :)

Who doesn't like chocolate? If you don't, you're crazy haha...just joking...
I would love to not like chocolate because maybe then I could lose a pound or two! ;)

Hershey's Kisses are delicious. There's really nothing more to say about it. They.are.delicious.
They are great for any day, any time, even any holiday. With it recently being Valentine's Day, Hershey's had this pack of kisses with each kiss wrapped with a pink, red, or silver wrapper. I love that Hershey's does this for different holidays. They also had 5 other packs specifically for Valentines, in all different flavors too! Since Easter is the next holiday coming (I guess they don't count St. Patricks Day) I'm sure you've seen the pink, blue, and purple packs in stores now! You can visit Hershey's website and look in the seasonal section to see all the seasonal colors and flavors.
They also have some yummy recipes and fun craft ideas you can do!

I made oatmeal giant-chocolate chip cookies using the Hershey's Kisses I received. I didn't follow a recipe from their site but next time around I will. I'm really liking the look of the peanut butter blossoms but my husband haates peanut butter so I will save this one for another day :)
Here are my cookies below.

Check out Hershey's for all your yummy chocolate needs.
 {Prices for a size 18.5oz bag is $5.29 and for a 11oz bag it is $3.28}

Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask

Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask is a facial mask that is derived from willowbark, a natural source of salicylic acid which helps refine skin texture and target imperfections, and oceanic minerals made to help draw out deep rooted impurities and oil without over drying your skin, so it can be left softer, clearer, and smoother.

To apply,  smooth a generous layer over your clean face and neck, avoiding the eyes, lips, and hairline, and let it sit for 10 minutes. Once dry, wipe away the mask with a wet tissue, and rinse with warm water. Be sure to apply a moisturizer afterward!
You can use this mask weekly, for ultimate results.

The mask is easy to apply, it doesn't have a scent, and it dries quickly. When you apply, it is a darker green tint, and once it dries, it turns lighter and feels tight on your skin. When I washed it off, my skin felt soft, but I didn't notice anything visible. I'd imagine it takes time just as everything else does. I love that it is all natural and healthy for your skin,
and that it helps reduce imperfections.

*Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask has only been tested on humans, has been approved by the Royal Boanic Gardens, Kew, and is Paraben free.

You can find Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask available for purchase at the price of $9.39 for a 3.3oz bottle in many stores including Boots, ULTA, and Target.
You can also visit them on Facebook and Twitter.

It's a Peanut ButterBot!

My son and I previously watched the new Toopy & Binoo show (click here to find more about it) and in one of the episodes, they made a Peanut Butterbot. This little robot ended up coming to life, attracting a ship of several Peanut Butterbot's, coming to pick up their friend. They even made Peanut Butter sandwiches too :)
My son loved this part in the show, so we agreed to make our own little Peanut Butterbot! It turned out so cute, and my son had a lot of fun making it.

To make, we started with a cereal box turned inside out and glued back together. I let my son draw his butterbot's body before we glued it, for easier drawing stability. For the eyes, they are two plastic knifes with yellow pom poms glued to the top. Then we made the legs out of Lego towers hooked to a couple Lego squares holding the wheels in place, and then taped inside cardboard tubes. Because of the wheels, our Peanut Butterbot even rolled!! Such fun!

You can watch the Toopy & Binoo
Peanut Butterbot video below, enjoy! :)

Watch Toopy & Binoo! + Twitter Party!

*I received Toopy and Binoo products in exchange for a post about the show. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

"Toopy and Binoo" is an animated series of kid shows, that follow the fun adventure of a mouse and a cat, reinforcing positive values, good manners and more! This series is a phenomenal hit in Canada, and now we get to bring it to the U.S.!

Here is a little bit about the characters in this show: Toopy is a spontaneous and friendly mouse who loves to talk about the fun adventures him and his best friend, Binoo, go on. And Binoo is a tiny, clever and loveable white cat who keeps his words quiet but gets his point across using gestures and actions. Together, they explore their colorful and exciting world, teaching about friendship, good manners, creative thinking, and more, while encouraging children
to use their imagination.

I watched Toopy and Binoo with my son and just loved it. The beginning song is so catchy., I find myself singing it all day long ;)
I think our favorite episode is when they made the Peanut Butterbot. My son liked it so much, he wanted to make his own Butterbot craft! So that's just what we did :) Check it out here!
This show is such fun for little ones. My son is 6, and he tried telling me it was boring at first...but the more he watched, the more he liked, and even requested to watch it again the next day!

The Toopy & Binoo series is aimed towards children ages 2-6, with each episode filled with laughter and fun, it's something the whole family can enjoy!
You can find more than 100 full five-minute episodes of Toopy and Binoo on YouTube at

Bible Stories for His Beautiful Princess - Book Review + Giveaway! Stories for His Beautiful Princess is written by Sheri Rose Shepherd and illustrated by Shelley Dieterichs. It is a sweet storybook on Bible stories written just for little girls. It teaches simple Bible lessons on how to know God, learning how to pray, having Faith, and under standing right from wrong. It shows what God is like and how much He loves His children. It is made to help little girls discover who they are in God, as 'a daughter of the king and a true beautiful princess'.
The illustrations are cute, and I like how each page has a new Princess prayer and word called Princess Jewel. It's filled with many Bible stories, explained in a way children can understand. I love that the author dedicates the book to her first girl grand-baby,
and to all her future grand-babies too.

My favorite Princess Prayer was on page 16, it says "Dear God, Thank you for making me so special. I love the way You created me! Amen." And the Princess Jewel to go with that says "You were created in God's image! Look in the mirror and thank God for making you." This is my favorite piece because so many little girls grow up with the mindset of society, thinking they need to look a certain way or be perfect. If we start them off young, building their beliefs and seeing their natural beauty, it can make a huge and positive difference in their future.

At the end of the book, there is a "letter" written from God assigned to the Princess and describing her as being God's special treasure. It mentions how much God loves her and that He would like her to share His love with others. There is also the "Salvation Prayer" on the last page, asking Jesus to come into her heart. It's sweet and heartfelt... If you have a little girl in your life and you would like her to know Bible verses and be raised on them, this is the perfect book. The Princess theme will draw her in
and she will love having it read to her every night.

Giveaway: Tyndale is holding a special giveaway for a chance to win a Princess Themed Prize pack, valued at $180, which also includes a copy of Bible Stories for His Beautiful Princess.
Be sure to check it out and Enter to win!!!  Ends 2/23
(1 person will win the Princess Pack, 5 people will win a copy of the book)

Name Your Very Own Star

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Ever since I watched A Walk To Remember, years ago, I wanted to have a star named after me. I never thought the chance would come, because I thought it would be something that is really expensive. And lets face it...there's more important things to spend your money on, then naming a star. But then I found out about "Name A Star"!  You can have a star named after you or a loved one, at a low price of just $12.99! It's cost efficient and totally worth it!

I was given the chance to review "Name A Star" through Tomoson, and decided I would give this chance to my son. He is 6 years old and loves anything about the solar system
so I thought he deserved this more then me :)

He decided to name his star after him, with the words "Star of Might" attached. We received an email with a printable certificate stating the stars location of longitude and latitude, and that it has been named what we chose.

To view our star, we had to download Google Earth first. The directions on the site were a little confusing to me, so I had my tech-savvy husband help, and he found it shortly after. The place where the pin sits (bottom left photo) makes it seem like our star is off somewhere next to the hot pink flash, so at first I was bummed the star that we named isn't visible because you zoom up and see nothing. But after looking at other peoples stars, I got to wondering if the pink flash is actually our star and the pin is just slightly off? If that's the case, then it's fine because our star would then be visible. I just was thinking we would get a star like the site shows, with the pin being directly on the star.
(see photo to the right)

In the end, all that matters is my son is happy. This was something for him to experience, and hold on to as he grows older. Someday he can show his kids, and his kids can show theirs :) It's an awesome thing to be able to say, "When I was little, I got a star named after me!" How cool is that?
Naming a Star is a great opportunity to come across. There's many occasions that would make this the perfect gift to give. Birthdays, Christmas, Anniversaries...can you imagine being proposed to in a star? That would be so romantic. With Valentines Day coming up, purchasing a star for your loved one just might be the perfect gift! You can also personalize your star, not only by naming it, but also writing a personalized message to go with it. This might be an opportunity you don't want to miss :)

"Keep your head up, reach for the highest, and never give up."

If you would like to purchase your own star to personalize or find more information, be sure to visit
You can also find them on Facebook!

Help Stop Obesity with the #CalorieCutback Project you know that the Food Industry has cut 6.4 trillion calories from food products!!!

Sixteen of America's biggest food makers in the U.S. marketplace have done so, in less than two years!
Industries including Kraft, Nestle, General Mills, Kellogg, Campbell Soup, Coca Cola, PepsiCo and Hershey's all packed together in 2009 and started the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation.

In 2012 they pledged to collectively sell 1 trillion fewer calories then they did in 2007, and by year 2015, they hope to sell
1.5 trillion even fewer calories! This is considered a
"positive step forward" in hopes that it impacts
America's health and obesity levels in a positive light.

If we eat a balanced meal at home, and enjoy daily activities, we can achieve a healthy lifestyle! Click the photo to the right to see how we can reduce our intake by 100 calories or more, and help stop the risk of obesity.

Cottonelle Flushable Wipes Review

Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Wipes are great for adding in that extra cleanliness after going to the bathroom. They are alcohol free so they work great for everyone, even those with sensitivities;  leaving you feeling fresh and clean. These wipes are made with a patented dispersible technology so they break up after flushing, and clear out of sewers, pumps, septic tanks, and municipal treatment systems when used properly.

(Click here to watch video on just how these wipes work!)
To follow the complete Cottonelle Care Routine, use one of Cottonelle's toilet papers before the cleansing wipe. There are three different varities: Clean Care, comes in a blue package, featuring Cottonelle's signature softness, Ultra Comfort Care which comes in a purple package and is the softest, thickest and most absorbent yet, and the Gentle Care, that comes in a green package and is gentle with built in Aloe and Vitamin E.

I love the smell of Cottonelle's Fresh Care Flushable Wipes. They smell so fresh, and they feel soft and moist, leaving you clean as you should be. You can also use these wipes when you're on the go or traveling and need wipes to clean your hands or face. The container they sit in keeps the wipes staying moist, and it is so easy to open, with just a flip of the lid, a wipe pulls out easily. I keep the wipes on the back of my toilet for everyone to use, and everyone who's used the agrees,
they really do leave you feeling clean!

#That Awkward Moment -movie release

As part of House Party's Chatterbox program, and in behalf of the new "That Awkward Moment" movie that just came out on January 31, 2014, I received a "That Awkward Moment" kit which included awkward moment t-shirt, cock stirrers, bandana, and post card.
That Awkward Moment stars Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller, as three best friends who find themselves in the confusing moment of a dating relationship, asking themselves "So...where is this going?.  They each vow to stay single single for as long as they can, but their plan falls apart, after each one begins falling in love. They end up hiding their relationships from each other, while trying to figure out all the complications in their relationships, of where it is going.
I haven't had a chance to see That Awkward Moment yet,
but watching the trailer, the movie looks pretty funny! Check it out:

I think my favorite part in the trailer is:
"Which one of you idiots uses self tanner? 'I do, why?' 'Because I thought it was lotion...
and now my junk is orange.'... 'That looks like a traffic cone.' 'It looks like a sad giraffe!' "

In watching the trailer, it looks like there's a lot of funny times in this movie. I think it would make a great girls night out movie or a night in, with a big bowl of ice cream :)

Have you seen That Awkward Moment yet? If so, how did you like it?

Visit for more information and clips from That Awkward Moment, as well as a fun interactive relationship quiz.

You can also find That Awkward Moment on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
