Nestle came out with the new Wonka Peel-A-Pop's!
Wonka Peel-A-Pops are a frozen snack that allows you to play with your food! It's like a banana on a stick, that you can unpeel the skin, and eat it too! The banana peel is gelatin-like with a vanilla ice cream in the middle.
Each Popsicle is just 70 calories and are available in two flavors: Vanilla Banana and Vanilla Grape.
We recently tried the Wonka Peel-A-Pop in the flavor Vanilla Banana. My impression on these Peel-A-Pops is that they are pretty gross. Even my 6 year old son didn't like them! The outer peel is the worst part. It taste like a warm jello like substance. That was disappointing because I expected more of a soft taffy like peel with an actual banana taste. The inside vanilla ice cream is decent, but a bit too sweet, and doesn't have the usual vanilla taste, its very artificial.
Everything about this ice cream is gross. I really wouldn't recommend it.

Agree 100%. Laffy taffy would be awesome! Would rather have a creamsicle type treat, with banana popsicle over vanilla ice cream. They also are small. Tried one and ate half with the peel on, and the rest unpeeled. Either way, I could not get through the whole "peel." The consistency changed into a weird gummy sort of thing. Looked like it would be good, I wanted to like it, but....really disappointed.
