@PlaytexSportandGentleGlide Tampons

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons are made with a new Odor Shielding Technology designed to neutralize odors, making you feel fresh wherever you go! The contoured applicator gives you a comfortable and precise placement, with a 360 design and FlexFit fibers that work quickly to trap leaks, giving you the protection you need on the go.

They have a light scent, and are available in light, regular and super absorbency. This box I received is a pack of 16, regular absorbency, made for normal flow days, at a retail price of $3.99-$4.99. To be honest, I am more of a pad user so these Tampons don't get a full review from me. But if you check out playtexplayon.com there are some good reviews on this product!

Wonka Peel-A-Pops-Vanilla Banana

 Ready to go bananas?

Nestle came out with the new Wonka Peel-A-Pop's!

Wonka Peel-A-Pops are a frozen snack that allows you to play with your food! It's like a banana on a stick, that you can unpeel the skin, and eat it too! The banana peel is gelatin-like with a vanilla ice cream in the middle.
Each Popsicle is just 70 calories and are available in two flavors: Vanilla Banana and Vanilla Grape.

We recently tried the Wonka Peel-A-Pop in the flavor Vanilla Banana. My impression on these Peel-A-Pops is that they are pretty gross. Even my 6 year old son didn't like them! The outer peel is the worst part. It taste like a warm jello like substance. That was disappointing because I expected more of a soft taffy like peel with an actual banana taste. The inside vanilla ice cream is decent, but a bit too sweet, and doesn't have the usual vanilla taste, its very artificial.
Everything about this ice cream is gross. I really wouldn't recommend it.

You can find Wonka Peel-A-Pops in several grocery stores including Kroger stores.  For more information and products, visit them on Facebook and Twitter.
And for some fun pictures, check out  http://www.wonkaicecream.com/
My favorites so far!:

Profoot Triad Orthotic Shoe Insoles

Profoot Triad Orthotic Shoe Insoles have three zones of comfort, made to cradle the balls of your feet, support your arches, and cushion your heels. They have been clinically proven to relieve knee, leg and back pain using Vita-Foam Technology 3/4" length to prevent toe cramping, and a triple-action ergonomic design that aligns your feet, providing the comfort you need.

These insoles are amazing! They came at the perfect time. My favorite shoes, I wear nearly every day, are starting to wear down in the heals, causing my feet pain when I walk a lot. I put the insoles in with the tape tabs, a perfect fit! These insoles are so comfortable! My heels haven't hurt since I put them in. I love them! The cushioning they give, really makes me feet happy.
When I first opened the package, I was concerned with the 3/4" length because I had
never tried insoles like these, and worried my feet would feel off balanced.
The shorter length actually works better, so my feet don't feel squished inside my shoe!
These things are seriously amazing, the best insoles I've ever tried. No lying!

Profoot Triad Orthotic Shoe Insoles are available in men and women's sizes for a retail price of about $10.49. If you visit profootcare.com you can find out where to purchase them, and even save with coupons! You can also visit them on Facebook and Twitter.

Bamboo Style's Premium Bamboo Utensil Gadget Set

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Bamboo Style's Premium Bamboo Cooking Kitchen Utensil Gadget set
is a 6 piece set containing:
  • Spoon
  • Spatula
  • Slotted Spoon
  • Rounded Fork
  • Slotted Spatula
  • Single Hole Spoon

Each utensil is made up of natural, high quality Moso Bamboo, which is 15% stronger then
Maple and 33% lighter than Oak.

This set is eco-friendly, very durable, and because of its hard compressed bamboo, the utensils won't warp or crack. They works great on pots and pans, without any scratching and they contain anti-bacterial properties to keep mold at bay, as well as being very easy to clean and maintain.

In using this Bamboo Utensil set, I have found it to be just as expected! They seem durable, and should last me a long time. I've had no scratches or slivers left behind, and they've been really easy to keep clean. They work great for salad, pasta, stirfrys, flipping pancakes, and more! My favorite pieces so far, have been the spatula, it works great for flipping omelets, and the Rounded Fork and Slotted Spoon, for mixing salads and pastas. So far I have no staining either! Works great!

Bamboo Style's Premium Bamboo Cooking Kitchen Utensil set is available for purchase on Amazon
for just under $10, and with your purchase, you also get a free Food Cooking E-book
and a 365 Day Money Back Guarantee!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Happy Animals Club-Help Spread The Word!

A few days ago, I came across this adorable charity called "Happy Animals Club", which was started by an 8 (now 9) year old boy named Ken, who lives in the Southern Philippines. He was filled with the determination to open an animal shelter for stray cats and dogs roaming the streets, and after some photos filtered through the internet, in February 2014, he began getting donations to care for those animals. He had received enough money to get those dogs off the street, feed them high quality canned food, and provide them with veterinary care. Not long after, Ken received enough money to open his animal shelter! On May 1, 2014, he leased a 10,000 square foot lot for one year, costing him 66,000 pesos ($1,500 usd). What an amazing heart this boy has! He is making a difference, in not only those animals lives, but in others around him; seeing his determination, willpower, and compassion,
He is a true blessing!

If you would like to donate to Happy Animals Club charity, visit http://www.happyanimalsclub.org/
{where you can also find updates from Ken himself, as well as more photos!}
Please help spread the word!

Perk Vent Wraps Air Freshener Review

A Perk Vent Wrap is a air freshener for your car, that you place inside your car's air vent, and it's totally discreet! The unique design of the vent wrap makes it virtually visible, gripping the vents blades so it won't block the air flow but it will allow a good scent to filter throughout your car. The wrap is made up of a black protective cover with StediScent beneath it, which is a fragrance delivering technology that regulates the fragrance so it's just right.

Perk Vent Wraps come in a pack of 4, each one individually wrapped, and will provide you with 60 days of fragrance. They are easy to place into your vent, clipping and staying in place. The only downfall is the scent gets on your hands if you're not careful. I try to use part of the package it comes in, to place it into the vent. It doesn't look very discreet in my cars vent, I assume because it's an older car... at least it blends in with the black color. The smell is fresh and lingers well, however a bit strong. Most of the smells tend to give me a headache because the car isn't well ventilated so the smell is all in your face.
But I tried the strips in my bathroom and it works great! I clipped one on each side of the sliding mirrors on the medicine cabinet doors. It works great, mixing Absolute Zero and Clean Laundry in the same room together. It also works really good clipping onto fans. When the fan blows, your room will smell glorious! My favorite smell of the 5 Perk freshener's is the Golden Vanilla. It smells kind of tropical with a hint of vanilla. The 5 scents that Perk Vent Wraps come in are: Absolute Zero, Clean Laundry, Golden Vanilla, Lush Valley, and New Car. An aroma for every taste!

For more information on Perk Vent Wraps, visit their Facebook page, or car-freshener.com

You can also enter Perk's Facebook giveaway! Enter every day for a chance to win a 6-month supply of Perk Air Freshener's and a $100 pre paid gift card! 5 people win! Ends 5/31/2014

Love, Skip, Jump - Book Review

http://booklookbloggers.com/art/_140_245_Book.1192.cover.jpgLove, Skip, Jump written by Shelene Bryan, is an inspiring read about herself, and the stories she tells about her life paths she goes on. It all started when Shelene decided to go on a trip to Africa, to see if the two kids she sponsored through a food program, were indeed real.  Throughout her journey, she's learned to say yes to God and His plans, while "loving how our Creator made us to love; skipping comfort and safety to help those who can never repay us; and taking a risk to jump into the epic journey God has for our lives". Shelene writes of how her life changed, seeing that it isn't just about herself,
and realizing she can use her means to help those in need.

I could just feel the joy come out of the book as I was reading. You can really feel Shelene's words and see her heart as she writes. She sounds like an amazing woman, with so many great intentions. I love that she is sharing her journey with others, and helping out who she can. I have always wanted to help those in poorer countries, but it seems like you have to have a lot of money to do so. In reading Love, Skip, Jump...the way Shelene describes her life, she seems pretty well off and able to spend money as she pleases...which, in a way, was kind of discouraging for those who's money is tight. But once she mentioned how a small amount of American money can be stretched to a lot in other cultures... it was encouraging to see, we all really can help! Big or small, no matter the amount of money, it can be used for good in some sort of way. And that leads us to Skip1. Skip1, founded by Shelene; is a charity dedicated to providing food and clean water to children and families around the world. The idea, is that, instead of spending money on something you don't really need, latte, manicure, car wash, ect., you skip it, and donate that money to Skip1.org We can make a difference!

If you would like to donate, visit www.skip1.org/welcome where you will also find more information and other Skip1 Projects.

Love, Skip, Jump is available for purchase on Amazon or at loveskipjump.com

The Healing Tree's Bamboo Charcoal Bar Soap

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

The Healing Tree is a family owned business, established in 2004. Their mission is to provide effective & affordable natural health products, including Sport Supports, Women's Apparel, Home, Office, Personal Care, and Pet Products, Worldwide. The Healing Tree also holds two different Charity Programs: Achy Paws for Animal Shelters & Bamboo Pro Support Our Troops. You can check those out here.

Recently I was sent The Healing Tree's Bamboo Charcoal Bar Soap to review.

Bamboo Charcoal Bar Soap is a hypoallergenic soap, with high absorbency properties that clean your skin and remove years of dead skin cells, while unclogging pore and allowing your skin to breathe. It is made up of just four natural ingredients: Vegetable Oil, Water, Glycerin, and Bamboo Charcoal. This soap is great for those with acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dry or cracked skin. It lather's well and doesn't leave any residue behind, just soft, smooth skin! Bamboo Charcoal Bar Soap is also fragrance Free, contains no harmful chemicals or colors,
and has never been tested on animals.

When I used the Bamboo Charcoal bar soap, I noticed it has a BBQ like smell. Even though it is said to be fragrance free, I don't think you can escape the smell of charcoal lol. I think that's the only downside to using this soap. It left my skin nice and soft, it washed off easily, but that scent is something to get use to. I love the fact that Bamboo Charcoal helps dry skin, because the past Winter really did a number on my skin, causing it to become dry and flaky. Bamboo Charcoal has seemed to have helped some with that so that's a plus! I will continue to use it and see it's benefits.

If you would like to try Bamboo Charcoal Bar soap, it is available for purchase at healingtreeproducts.com for $3.99 a bar plus free shipping!
You can also join The Healing Tree's Newsletter for Your Chance to Win FREE Monthly Products!

Arm & Hammer's Truly Radiant

Arm & Hammer's new Truly Radiant toothpaste is made to not only whiten your teeth, but also clean, strengthen and repair tooth enamel for a radiant smile in just 5 days! It is made up of a unique formula of baking soda, active calcium, fluoride and peroxide, which restores the gloss and luster of your teeth, and clinically proven to beautify your teeth when you use as directed. For an extra clean sensation, pair Truly Radiant toothpaste with Arm & Hammer's Truly Radiant Deep Clean Spinbrush! The spinbrush is a battery-powered toothbrush that is made to remove 100% more plaque then an average manual toothbrush, and it easily cleans those hard-to-reach places with its dual action brush head. This spinbrush is not only cheaper then most rechargeable brushes, it is also reusable, as you can change out the brush heads as needed.

The first time I used Truly Radiant toothpaste & spinbrush, the vibration of the tooth brush drove me crazy. It reminded me of when I get my teeth cleaned at the Dentist...something I hate!  But after I got used to the vibrations, I really enjoyed brushing with it. I could see my teeth getting cleaned by the second. It was really fun to watch, and swirl around my mouth. Using the Truly Radiant toothpaste was also pleasant. It has a nice minty flavor, and I could see my teeth brightening with each use. The next day I went to use the spin brush again and it was such an uncomfortable experience, it was like my mouth was sore from the previous use. It felt like the dentist was drilling my mouth. I couldn't handle the vibrations! I think the spin brush might have too much power and seems like it should only be used once a week to get the down in the cracks clean feeling. Though, I do enjoy how clean my teeth feel afterward, I will stick to my original manual toothbrush and use the spin brush weekly, to save my teeth from the pain. The toothpaste itself oddly taste different when it's on a normal toothbrush lol. Both my husband and I have been using it daily and have loved the results in brightening our teeth, and giving a clean feeling, but the baking soda flavor is strong... the mintiness shields that somewhat...but my husband said it left a weird aftertaste in his mouth...something like hotdogs! lol. I didn't experience that, but I guess everyone's taste buds are different! All in all, I think the Truly Radiant teeth regime is a good one, because it whitens without the horrible flavor other whitening toothpastes have,  but the spinbrush is really not for those with sensitive teeth.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Body Wash

I received a 1.2 oz. sample of Herbal Essences: Hello Hydration
for review, through Crowdtap.

 The smell wasn't very potent,
it was just kind of a decent smell.
Nothing to glorious, and nothing too foul. I kind of wish it had a stronger scent,
something to make my shower aroma's linger.
It did lather well, and you only need a small amount, so I'll give it that ;)

Herbal Essence body wash comes in five different scents: Body Burst: Citrus, Happy Go Lather: Floral, Hello Hydration: Coconut, Honey I Smell Good: Honey Apricot, and Totally Twisted: Juicy.

Which scent would you
most want to try first?

You can find Herbal Essence body wash in most stores,
or you can purchase them online at Herbal Essence's website.
