First of all, I really love the name of these paper cups; the Gripple Ripple is just too cute! When I received this set of paper cups, I was
surprised how heavy duty they are! They are thick and durable, and the
outer lining keeps the cup easy to handle with hot liquids inside, while
also allowing a good grip on your cup. At first, I had a hard time
loosening some of the cups apart, but once I got them apart the first
time, they came apart easier later on.
I made me a hot cup of coffee using one of these cups and it withheld the heat perfectly. I even tried it in the microwave for a minute (which I'm not sure if this is ok to do lol), and the cup wasn't piping hot to the touch. You could feel the heat through, but just the warmth seeping through, which to be honest, you kind of WANT to feel that when you have a warm drink, especially in the winter. The biggest downfall is that they do not include lids, so be careful to not spill. But I'm sure you could find and purchase lids separately. Overall, I really like these paper cups and they would make great office cups, or just at home lounging cups when you don't want to run the dishwasher.
