Add a little extra nutrients and texture to your food with
 Manitoba Harvest's Hemp Heart Seeds!

These little versatile seeds are full of nutritious goods including 10grams of plant based protein and 10grams of omega-3 and omega-6 per every 30gram serving. That's more than a same size serving of flax or chia! Not to mention their nutty flavor and crunchy texture adds such a great vibe to your foods! You can add these Hemp Seeds to your yogurt or cereal, in a smoothie, sprinkled on salad, even eat them straight from the bag! But my favorite way to indulge in these seeds are to bake them in my waffles!! They add such a delicious little crunchiness to all the edges, and that nutty factor is perfect for snacking on.

You can use Hemp Heart Seeds for many awesome creations, but why not also add in some healthy fun for your next kids party. How about adding the seeds to an ice cream topping bar! They can be in place of peanuts, or an added extra! Kids will love topping their ice cream or frozen yogurt with these delicious little nut pods. The seeds make a beautiful khaki color and you can pretend they're sprinkles ;) I really enjoy eating Hemp Seeds, as their nutty taste and crunch goes good with so many things. I will leave you with my handy waffle recipe for you to enjoy!

2 Cups Flour
4tsp Baking Powder
1/2tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 Cups Water
Your choice on the amount of Hemp Heart Seeds
(I usually do about 1 Cup or so)

Mix all together and bake in your oiled waffle maker! Enjoy!

A Very Thankful Prayer - Book Review

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

A Very Thankful Prayer by Bonnie Rickner Jensen is an adorable children's book on being thankful everyday. Watching the life all around you and being thankful for every waking moment. The colorful leaves falling on the ground, the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch and the apples in the orchard, the clothing you wear to keep warm, the friends and family you hold dear, and a big Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with those you love. This book is beautifully illustrated and perfect for the upcoming Fall season.

I love everything about Fall, including sweet children's books focusing on the great things in this thankful season. The story is short and sweet and the illustrations are perfectly drawn to display those fun fall scenes of playing in the leaves, hunting for that perfect round pumpkin, and enjoying time with those who are close. This is a great book to purchase for your little ones! Especially as Fall is nearing, it is the perfect introduction to Thanksgiving right around the corner. It's gorgeous and fun in one!

SunButter Sunflower Butter - A Better Substitute To Peanuts

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Did you know, with the rising peanut allergy in children, over 60% of schools no longer allow peanut ingredients in their classrooms? Companies are starting to catch on to this, and making delicious substitutes for those with peanut allergies to enjoy. SunButter is one of them!

SunButter is a natural and healthy nut butter made with U.S. grown roasted Sunflower Seeds. Every serving is chocked full of vitamins and holds 7 grams of protein. It is not only a great peanut butter substitute, but it is also vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, non-GMO, and certified kosher. SunButter is free from all of the top eight food allergens, so it is safe in schools.

I never thought I would love Sunflower Butter until I tried SunButter's Natural Crunch. It is truly delicious, with sunflower seed pieces throughout. The creamy is good too, but the crunchy is my favorite. It has a sweet taste and the texture is amazing to my taste buds. It is perfect on really anything, but even just a spoon full of this goodness makes me happy. SunButter also comes in Natural, No Sugar Added and Organic. You can find all these flavors available in the typical 16oz containers, but the creamy variety is available in On the go Cups with are 1.5 oz serving containers. Perfect for school lunches!

You can use SunButter in place of any peanut butter product; use it on your sandwich, melt it on your pancakes, add it to your smoothie..maybe even bake cookies with it? This butter is delicious and you will feel content serving it to your family.

You can find SunButter available for purchase in most major retail stores including Target, Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Publix, and Whole Foods. Also visit sunbutter.com for more information. Connect with them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest as well.
