Influenster Renew Vox Box

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

I recently received the Renew Vox Box through Influenster and am loving the products inside!

Not Your Mother's Matcha Green Tea & Wild Apple Blossom Nutrient Rich Butter Masque : First off, I want to mention the scent of this product. It smells SO good! I use it once a week, lathering my thin/straight hair, allowing it to sit for 2 minutes, then rinsing out and following with a shampoo to cleanse. My hair is left feeling softer and smelling great. Though the smell doesn't linger in my hair like I would like it to, so I occasionally find myself using it as a leave in conditioner, just slightly on the tips of my hair if I'm throwing it into a messy bun. So far it's been great!

I have very much enjoyed a sample of Sumbody's Milky Rich Natural Soap. It has a pleasant smell and leaves my face feeling soft and clean. I really love the ingredients this bar is made of too: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Goat Milk, and sum Scent Blend... It allows the soap to be gentle on my skin and feel refreshed after each use.

Splenda Naturals is an excellent sugar substitute. I love using it in my baking cookies. It adds such a nice, sweet flavor and doesn't leave a gross taste behind like a lot of artificial sweeteners do. This one is derived from stevia leafs, extracting the goodness out. It contains no artificial flavors or colors, no preservatives, and only non-GMO ingredients. It also tastes great in tea!

Garnier's SkinActive Soothing 3-in-1 Moisturizer Mask and All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover are equally great products! The mask is infused with Rose Water and feels like lotion to put on, smells wonderful, and lefaves my face feeling so soft! It's like a mini spa treatment. Probably my favorite product in this box! I also notice it allows my skin to absorb lotion easier. The cleanser works really well on removing my waterproof mascara, which is great to use just before bed. It seems to moisturize around my eyes as well. It has no scent and can be used without rinsing.

The last product was a coupon to pick up a free container of Pure Blends Plant-Based Butter in either Avocado Oil or Coconut Oil, but I have yet to find this in stores to purchase. Once I do, I will buy the avocado oil butter because this sounds most delicious! They are both made certified vegan, with the avocado oil butter containing 2.5g Monounsaturated fat per serving and 0g trans fat per serving, being a good source of Omega 3 ALA and is gluten free. I'm sure it's buttery flavorful!

I have loved trying each of the products listed above. They are all things I would love to continue using. Have you tried any of them? I would love to know your thoughts!

I received a complimentary product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions my own.

Yeast Free Fried Dough Balls (Wannabe Donut Holes)

If you are craving fried bread, or donut holes, you have to try this recipe! I found it over at Sugar Spun Run and have made it multiple times since. However, we often eat them without any topping, so they become just little fried dough balls! They are sooo good and really easy to make! To make these scrumptious little bits, you need the following ingredients:
 1 tsp Salt
2 cups Flour
3 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
5 Tbsp cold Butter
3/4 cup Milk
Oil for Frying

To begin, heat your oil for frying, then gather the ingredients. The instructions say to combine the dry ingredients together before you cut in the butter with a pasty mixer, but if you're anything like me, I just throw all the ingredients into a bowl, form it into a dough, and call it good haha. You want the dough to have a nice consistency so you may have to roll it around in flour until it reaches that point. You then will be able to roll the dough into balls and they're ready for frying!

You can fry several balls at a time, and they cook pretty quickly. You want them to be a nice golden color so make sure you cook them until they are otherwise you might have literal "dough balls" haha. Once they are thoroughly fried, pull them from the oil and drain on a plate covered in paper towels. You can then decide if you want to eat them plain, or roll them around in a cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar mixture.

These little balls make a yummy snack and they're fun for the whole family to enjoy. Your little ones might even have fun helping roll out the dough balls! Enjoy!
