The Little Potato Company Terrific Trio Potatoes

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

I love these little potatoes!! The "Terrific Trio" by The Little Potato Company are the best tiny potatoes I've ever eaten. They're so creamy and they bake in the oven quick and easy. Comfort Food at its finest.

The potatoes come pre-washed, straight from the farm they were grown on. And the best part is you don't even have to peel these babies! They make an excellent dish, either by themselves or cooked in a dish. They are truly delicious potatoes, I would even say they are addicting haha. Me and my family loved them! In the bag I purchased, it contained three different types of potatoes: red, blue, and yellow creamers, each one with a slightly different taste.

The potatoes were so easy to cook, all I did was chopped them in half, toss them in olive oil, added some seasoning, and baked them in the oven at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes. The potatoes become soft and have an exquisite creamy taste, which makes them excellent even on their own! I made a delicious little potato salad with ours, filled with beans, chopped steak, and tomatoes, tossed with shredded Pepper-jack cheese, and laid over a bed of romaine - then drizzled with Kewpie Mayo!

I love everything about The Little Potato Company's Terrific Trio potatoes. I am amazed by their quality and that they have so many varieties. Check out their website at littlepotatoes.com to see all their products, as well as recipe ideas, and more!

Aussie Smooth Vibes and Miracle Detox

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Let's face it, hair gets tangly whether you wash
your hair or not, and sometimes we don't have the time to condition it like we need to. Aussie's Smooth Vibes Dry Conditioner makes conditioning your hair so much easier in about half the time then if you used actual conditioner! You spray the Smooth Vibes into your dry locks, comb it through, and you will find your hair less tangly! I love how easy it is to use this product and that my hair is easier to comb through after using. The scent also smells great, as if you used perfume, so it's a double bonus! This product is perfect for on those no wash/dry shampoo days, but I even use it on wash days, after my hair is dry, for a soft and detangled feel. Definitely recommend!

After using multiple different products on my hair, Aussie Miracle Detox Shampoo helped restart my hair by detoxing from buildup of other products. I could definitely see that it detoxed my hair, but I didn't expect the shampoo to make the roots look so dry and frizzy! Because of this, I will only use it once or twice a week; but I love the scent of this product. It makes me think of a masculine watermelon smell lol, when in reality, it's the white charcoal and Australian kakadu plum causing this scent. I also expected the shampoo to have a charcoal color so I was shocked to see it was so clear! The shampoo lathered well and rinsed out great, but I would recommend cautious use as to not dry out your natural hair oils.

Two great products made by Aussie as part of the their New Arrival Line. You can find them available online at aussie.com as well as more products and information, or find them in your local stores.

Crafting and Creating Barbie Sized Firewood

In some ways, we never really grow up haha.. I loved playing with Barbies when I was a kid, and now that I'm all grown up, I don't enjoy playing with them, but I do like the idea of creating crafts with them! Something I've been wanting to do for awhile now are occasional "Create with Barbie" posts where I do a fun new craft or mini project of some sort. Today's idea is creating Barbie sized firewood for her to build fires while she's camping!

To make these pieces of firewood, all you need is corrugated cardboard and something to keep the pieces to stick together. I used glue dots, but tape or glue would work as well. Then you need some sort of ink to color the cardboard. I used ink pads but you could also use markers or crayons. You begin by rolling the corrugated cardboard into rolls and glue the flap down so it stays in place. Make 3 or 4 "stumps" and you have the beginnings of campfire!

After making the "wood" you can make some "fire" using construction paper. Once done, start setting up a woods scenery with Barbie. Maybe even take her outdoors for some realistic play! And don't forget to bring her sleeping bag, and some marshmallows to roast over that fire!

Daily Goodie Box - March 2020

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

I received a the March Daily Goodie Box, this one filled with helpful things to keep me going, from everyday beauty to healthy additions, this box came at the perfect time for a pick me up!

Cate & Chloe - Ariel Tempest Halo Stud Earrings, made with 18k white gold plating a Grade CZ Crystal stones, these earrings are a beauty in them-self, sure to sparkle in the light. I really like the looks of these earrings and found them to be gorgeous, perfect for fancy occasions; But when I placed them in my ears, I found them to be a bit too big for my preference, somewhat weighing down my ear lobes looking kind of silly. I would love if they were about half the size they are, as I prefer smaller earrings on my earlobes.

Tiger Balm Active - Muscle Spray - I love how easy to use this spray is. You just spray it on the area where your sore muscles are and you're good to go. This is much better than having to get your hands messy with the original rub. Plus I find it smells better, with an added mintyness from the menthol. It helps my achy muscles feel better too!

Prince Of Peace - Ginger Chews with Lychee reminds me of those sour patch candies because at first, the lychee brings the sweetness, then the ginger packs a punch of spice. These candies are much like taffy, as they are chewy, but meant to be sucked on. They're interesting in taste, but I've noticed they help sore throats feel better which is great for cold and allergy seasons. Plus ginger is really good for upset stomachs! Great little candy overall, especially if you love ginger.

Blister Balm  - External Analgesic Ointment, is naturally made medicated with Desert Botanical jojoba to provide relief and healing for those that get cold sores or fever blisters. It helps relieve pain and itching, and keeps it cool with menthol. I personally don't get cold sores or fever blisters, but this seems like a good product to help with the uncomfortableness.

Prince & Spring - Stellar Seltzer Water - I received the flavor Tangerine, with high hopes of it tasting amazing, but unfortunately I could only taste the seltzer. I wish the tangerine flavor was stronger so I could actually taste it. I ended up mixing mine with fruit juice, and enjoyed the bubbly texture.

Prince & Spring - Fruit & Nut Bars are perfect for an on-the-go snack. I received the Almond Coconut flavor, which is a nice mix of sweet and salty, filled with nutrients making it a great bar to take with you on a hike or to eat after a workout. I do think the bars are a bit hard and would love if they were made softer. Each bar contains 4g of protein and 7g of sugar.

Teami Blends - Alive Tea Blend - I'm not usually a fan of green tea, as it tends to have a fishy flavor to me, but I like that Teami Blends mixes their green tea with lemongrass and ginger, making it a combined flavor. I love that this tea helps provide natural energy while keeping your immune system up and aiding in digestion. I've been drinking this tea nearly everyday and have learned to enjoy the flavor!

Real Chemistry - Environmental Rescue Mask to the rescue! It's been a stressful couple months, so having a face mask to help relieve some of that facial tension is definitely a blessing lol. I love that this mask will help reduce fine wrinkles, enhance elasticity, and brighten the skin. I used mine shortly after receiving; keeping it on for 20 minutes, then rubbing in the serum. I was a bit disappointed, as I didn't feel or notice any difference in using this mask, but I think you cant really tell over one use. I like that it didn't have a strong smell, and was simple to use.

I've enjoyed trying another batch of products and looking forward to the next! Would you like to try your in Goodie Box for free? Join the Daily Goodie Box to receive your own set of products to test!

Practicing Cursive With Your Favorite Book

A great way to keep your kids entertained (and maybe yourself as well) is to practice cursive handwriting! Keep it fun and enjoyable by having your children choose their favorite book - that they read or you read to them - then have them choose their favorite quote or passage from the book, and begin copying it down, in cursive!

You may need to print off a cursive writing sheet for them to go off of; you can find several available printouts by an easy Google search. {I like to use this one} Let them choose whatever writing utensil they like, whether it be marker, pencil, or pen...maybe even paint to amp it up?! Whatever it may be, make sure your kids get interested and keep this in the FUN category, nothing stressful :)

Elbow Noodle Lasagna With Classico Organic Roasted Garlic Sauce

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Made with fresh roasted garlic and sun roasted tomatoes, Classico Organic Roasted Garlic Sauce really brings out the organic home made taste! And the best part, is that this sauce is made with ingredients you know and understand, such as tomato puree, diced tomatoes in juice, roasted garlic, evaporated cane sugar, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, onions, sea salt, and roasted red bell peppers, just to name a few, and all organic!

With the Classico Organic Roasted Garlic Sauce, I made an easy but delicious, cheesy elbow noodle lasagna, and you could really taste garlic! It's a spectacular sauce with a real homey flavor and aroma. I can imagine it would be just as good on a pizza or chicken Parmesan! It's definitely one of those products you would want to keep on hand for easy and versatile dinner nights!

Classico Organic Roasted Garlic Sauce can be found in your local grocery stores or purchased online at Walmart or Instacart.

Chicory Herbal 'Coffee' Dark Dandelion Roast

If you're looking for a coffee substitute, I highly recommend teeccino's Chicory Herbal 'Coffee' Dark Dandelion Roast. It's made with Dandelion, Chicory, and Ramón, with natural coffee flavoring, caffeine free and acid free. It smells and tastes so close to coffee that this is probably the best substitute I've found! Plus you can brew it just like coffee!

If you're interested in trying this brew, you can get a sample pack here for just under $2!!! Or if you want to buy a full 28 serving 10oz bag, you can get that here, and also check out all their other flavors!! I can't wait to try them all!

 Nutritious Ready-to-Eat Foods For Children

You want to serve your kids nutritious meals. That said, doing so may not always feel easy. According to surveys, the average family is busier than ever. Making time to prepare healthful meals for the kids is a challenge when you have too many other responsibilities on your plate (no pun intended) already.

Of course, you could serve them frozen meals, but those aren’t nutritious, right?

That’s a fair assumption to make. However, it’s not completely accurate. While there are plenty of frozen foods that lack nutritional value, there are also several that are surprisingly good for your kids. In fact, they are the kinds of foods that your kids will eat and actually enjoy. The following are just a few examples:

Hip Chick Farms Organic Chicken Fingers

Kids love chicken fingers. They also need protein. Although everyone needs protein, it’s particularly important for children, as it plays a key role in their development.

Luckily, these tasty chicken fingers offer up 20 grams of protein per serving. They’re also free of antibiotics and added hormones. Kids will love them, and you’ll feel good about serving them!

Luvo Toasted Cauliflower Mac n’ Cheese

It’s worth noting that frozen foods can also give you the opportunity to introduce new foods to picky eaters by combining nutritious ingredients with beloved snacks.

This cauliflower mac n’ cheese is just one example. Kids love mac n’ cheese, but they’re usually not that interested in cauliflower. That may change when you serve a frozen mac n’ cheese that uses cauliflower instead of pasta to deliver 55 grams of whole grains and a half cup of vegetables per serving.

Caulipower Margherita Cauliflower-Crust Pizza

Does the idea of introducing your kids to healthful foods via foods they already love appeal to you? If so, you may also want to serve up this cauliflower-crust pizza from time to time. Whether your kids dislike mac n’ cheese, or simply want more variety, it’s another delicious (and nutritious) option to consider.

Kashi Original 7 Grain Waffles

Nutritious frozen meals aren’t limited to lunch, dinner, and snacks. If your kids love waffles, trade in the brands targeting them for these frozen waffles from Kashi. Unlike waffles from other brands, they’re not high in refined flour.

They also contain omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and of course, whole grains, making them a genuinely healthful way for a kid to start their day.

Good Food Made Simple Turkey Meatball

It’s no secret that plenty of kids love spaghetti and meatballs. Unfortunately, meatballs made with beef tend to be both high in calories and fat. And, making meatballs in general can be time-consuming!

Save time while offering your kids a healthier alternative with these frozen turkey meatballs. They’re much leaner than beef meatballs, while still providing your kids with the protein they need.

These few examples simply illustrate that serving frozen meals isn’t always a bad idea. In fact, if you want your kids to be healthy, these options deliver major nutrients. The fact that they make your life easier is just an added bonus!
