Quaker's New Steel Cut & Protein Instant Oatmeal

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

We live in a world where everything is constantly in rush mode, so a lot of times, our breakfast has to be quick. Did you know that with Quaker's Protein Instant Oatmeal, you can get 10 grams of protein in just one bowl, and with the new Steel Cut Quick Oatmeal you can have it in just 3 minutes?
Instant oatmeal is easy and quick to make, you just dump the oatmeal in a bowl, add milk or water, then microwave it and it's ready to go! A fast and healthy breakfast!

As a Bzzagent, I received Quaker's new Protein Instant Oatmeal and Steel Cut Quick Oatmeal to review. The first one I tried was the Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal in the flavor of Cranberry Almond, and I love it! The sweet flavor of the cranberries mixed with the nutty crunch of the almonds made a bowl of oatmeal so much more satisfying. I like that it has 10 grams of Protein so I can feel good about eating it too. I didn't notice it to keep me full as long as I hoped, from just the bowl of oatmeal, but when I added other items to it, to be a complete breakfast, I felt good. The only thing I would change about this flavor would be to add more almonds in it! I think those were my favorite part!
Now I can't wait to try the Banana Nut flavor!

The Steel Cut Quick Oatmeal I received was in the flavor of Blueberries & Cranberries. This hearty part of breakfast can be cooked in just 3 minutes! It has a very sweet flavor, but it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I would have liked it if there was more fruit in it to give it more flavor and go with its texture. The steel cut oats give this oatmeal a thicker consistency, I like to microwave it in just 2 minutes so I get a little bit of crunch in my bite, but I didn't get the nutty taste the description gives. I do like that Quaker uses real fruit for this, though I am looking forward to the Brown Sugar and Cinnamon flavor, as I think I may like that one better.

To give my oatmeal the maximum taste, I like to cook it with milk instead
of water, and add in extra cinnamon before cooking.
After it is cooked, stir together, and it tastes warm and creamy.
How do you like your oatmeal?
