The Best Cup of Coffee with The MIRA French Press

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Brew a delicious cup of café style coffee from the comforts of your own home with the MIRA French Press! With its double wall and insulated pot, you can brew up to 3 4oz cups of coffee at a time, that will stay warm for up to 2 hours. This french press is made from high quality stainless steel and it contains a three part plunger containing an ultra-fine mesh filter to give you the best quality of your finely ground coffee beans. It is also dishwasher safe!

This is the first time I have used a french press and I absolutely loved it!I followed the instructions that were included, directing me to first scoop in 2-3tbsp of coffee grounds, per 6oz. of water. When I usually make myself coffee, I use a tea diffuser which makes about 2 1/2 cups of coffee at a time, and I use approximately 2tbs for that! So I was a little hesitant on the amount of coffee beans I needed to place in the press, but I went ahead and followed through. After I scooped the ground beans into the pot, I then added a cup of hot water, until the pot was about 2/3 or more, full. I stirred it around, as instructions said, then place the french press plunge lid on top, turning to close it. I let it brew for the 3-4 minutes as directed, then I began slowly pushing the plunge down. This was the fun part :)

Once the plunge reached the bottom of the pot, I was then able to pour my cup of coffee! It poured out smoothly with no coffee ground pieces, and it smelled rich as a fresh pot of coffee! Once I poured my desired amount to my cup, I added in my flavors (chocolate, hazelnut, and milk) and mixed together to drink. My first drink into this, I could taste the delicious flavor difference in using a french press! This was literally the best cup of coffee I've ever had! Even better then coffee shops! I was shocked! But about 30 minutes into it, I realized my intuition was right about using too many coffee grounds for such a little pot. I had such a jolt of caffeine my whole body was shaky! haha. But I suppose that is because, all this time, I haven't been making coffee correctly ;) I am in love with this french press!

The MIRA French Press is great for traveling, and especially well on camping trips. It's so easy to use and gives you an amazing flavor of coffee. It would make a great gift for all the coffee lovers, and a really good housewarming gift for young adults just moving out!

You can find the 12 oz MIRA stainless steel french press available for purchase on Amazon for $29.99 with free shipping on orders over $35.(It also works with loose tea!)
