Helps Kids Publish Their Own Comic Books With Lulu Jr.!!

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Do you have a little one interested in comics and book making? Lulu Jr. allows children to create their own books and comics, becoming a published author and artist. Through Lulu Jr. your child receives their kit to begin creating a book, personally all done by them! In the "My Comic Book" kit, it contains: ready-to-use page templates, washable markers, an artist pen, pencil, and eraser. As well as a how to guide, instructions, order form, and a postage-paid envelope. Your child will write and illustrate their very own comic book, 16 pages full plus a front and back cover!

My son loves making books. Ever since he was 3, he has told us he wanted to be a book maker, so to receive this kit was awesome! We went through the instructions and my son browsed the how-to guide, getting ideas for what he wanted to make his book on. He decided to go with is own imagination and make a comic book on the "Series" he's been doing. I think he was a bit overwhelmed by all the possibilities, and with his want to fill every nook and cranny of the page, but slowly he's been getting through and can't wait until it's finished. This will be a dream come true for him, publishing his own book!

Once my son completes his comic, we will send it in to the company, wait for the arrival of the finished product and will update this post once it does. We can't wait!!

Lulu Jr. is an amazing service for children, perfect for ages 8 and up. It builds creativity and self esteem while strengthening literacy and helping the child see his great potential. At just $29.99 you can make a child's dream come true!!! Check out www.lulujr.com to view the book making kits and other info. You can also visit Lulu Jr. on Facebook and Twitter.

UPDATE: The comic itself has arrived! It is thinner that I was expecting, but I'm not sure why I expected anything thick, since this is the size of an actual comic book. I feel like I could have just stapled my sons papers together and it would be pretty similar to the actual finished product, but it's ok and the color of the final print is good. Here are two pictures from his final comic outcome:

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless,
I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
