A great item to have in your pantry is Milkman's Instant Low Fat Dry Milk! It's shelf stable for quite some time, until you are ready to use it, and each bag is the equivalent to one quart of milk. You can use it in several recipes, wet or dry, depending on what you make, and it works just like milk should!

I really love this brand of powdered milk. It took me back to my
childhood when we would drink powdered milk after running out of 1%
milk. The flavor is sweet and creamy, and it works great in baking
recipes! I love that it can sit in your pantry as a powder and ready to
use when needed, just by adding water! Such a great product to have on
hand! I made delicious little biscuits and you couldn't even taste the milk in them! See how perfect they came out? :)
