Daily Goodie Box - October 2020

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

October had a nice variety of goodies in this Daily Goodie Box!
From snacks to self care, I loved trying out each item.

Electrolit - Electrolyte Beverage - Replenishing my electrolytes with this sweet but somewhat salty drink. I found it to be refreshing when cold. A nice little beverage to restore what you lose through sweating, so these would be great to drink after a workout!

Heat Holders - Crew Socks - These socks are super cozy! They're fuzzy and thick, keeping my feet feeling warm, which is especially great during these cold months. And if my feet still feel too cold, the socks are big enough to allow me to wear another pair beneath them, for the ultimate toasty feet.

Crunchsters - Sprouted Protein Snacks make for an interesting snack. I expected them to be solid and hard, but they were surprisingly airy with a nice crunch. The taste reminded me of chickpeas, but the smell was horrendous. Like rotten salty cheese lol. I would say, if you like these snacks, eat them fast so they don't stink up your room. 😄

Spatty - Cosmetic Spatula - I have yet to use this cosmetic spatula, but the idea of using it to get the last bit of the product out, is better on the wallet! It helps you save money and use the item for a little bit longer.

ADORAtherapy - Serene Room Boost Spray - I love this scent spray, and that it's made with essential oils, so it's healthier breathing in the scents. I like to spray for a calming aroma in my living room or just before bedtime. It's really nice, and I would love to experience their other scents!

ICE CHIPS® - Mint Pouch - I've never experienced ice chip mints before, so this was pretty exciting to try. The chips look like ice but they're little mint shavings and taste so great! They leave a nice minty fresh taste in your mouth, and have a nice cool texture to your mouth.

Patterbar - Clean Energy Bar - I wish these bars didn't have coconut in them, because I love cashews and coconut doesn't do well with me. They seem to be great bars though, perfect for on the go or to indulge in when you need some clean energy.

Point of Danger - Book Review

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Point of Danger by Irene Hannon is a Romantic Suspense story about a girl named Eve, who works as a Radio Talk Show Host, that apparently not everyone likes. One day after work, she arrives home to find a package on her doorstep, that appears to be a bomb. This begins unraveling a time of fear and threats, keeping Eve on edge. Through this process, she meets a detective, and a spark ignites between the two of them, but will they work out? And will Eve ever be safe? Mystery and romance combines to make for a delicious read, you must find out!

I loved reading Point of Danger, and all of the mystery that stacked up until the end. I liked how there were several angles to each threat that Eve was experiencing, and that her strength shined through, even in times of panic and fear. The romance between her and the detective, was perfectly thought out, but didn't steal the mystery of the story. Although I felt the epilogue was a bit cheesy, I loved every bit of this book and definitely recommend!

You can find Point of Danger available for purchase on Amazon in Paperback, Hardback, Audio book, or on Kindle.
