Candy Aisle Crafts - Book Review

http://images.randomhouse.com/cover/9780804137911?width=1000&alt=no_cover_b4b.gifCandy Aisle Crafts written by Jodi Levine is packed full of simple ideas for crafts you and your children will love. It contains ideas for party decorations to children's toys, from wearable arts to cute gifts, food crafts and more! Things like colorful candy cane hearts, melted peppermints molded into a bowl, ice cream cones transformed into a castle, marshmallows shaped into a polar bear...So many cute ideas, a book 112 pages full of sweetness!

Some of my favorite little sweets I came across and fell in love with, were the "Cow On A Mug" on page 68, made of marshmallows, sprinkles, and Haribo candy, shaped into a cow that sits on the side of your cup. So cute! And the little "Piggy Cupcakes" on page 69, also made with marshmallows. I thought the "Monogrammed Hot Chocolate" idea was genius! All you do is take large marshmallows, flatten them, and use small cookie cutters to cut out the shape or letter you would like, and plop them in your hot cocoa!
This would make such a fun Winter activity!

Every page is full of colorful and delicious candy art and recipes. So many adorable candy crafts
in this book, things you can do with your children, or by yourself. Perfect for parties, holidays,
and just a little extra fun in the kitchen!!

Candy Aisle Crafts is available for purchase on Amazon, or Random House, for under $20.
