Faith Builders Bible, NIrV- Perfect For Lego Lovers! - Book Review

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) as a free sample.. All opinions my own.

If you have a Lego Lover and want to teach them Bible Stories, The Faith Builders NIrV Bible is an excellent way to get them interested. Reading Bible Stories to your little one, while they get to build up a Lego scene to go with the story will peek their interest, and they will learn while having fun!

The Faith Builders Bible is a complete New International Reader's Version (NIrV) children's Bible with books from Genesis to Revelations, that bears 9 point fonts, and 24 full color pages of Lego Illustrations that your child can build off of.

I received this Bible for my son, as he loves anything Lego and I wanted to teach him stories of the Bible. I knew that it being Lego,
he would be more apt to want to learn about the stories, and enjoy building creations to go with them. It made a fun Christmas gift for him! He saw the Lego's on the cover and was so happy to start looking through it. Lately, he has become interested in learning about all the history that the Bible holds, so it came at the perfect time. I really wish there were more Lego scenes to go along with each story though. I realize there are way too many storie for every single page to have a Lego scene, but I definitely feel this Bible needed more. Especially since it is a Bible aimed towards young children and Lego lovers. I also expected the font to be a bit bigger for children to have an easier time reading.

In the beginning of the book, there are pages with the "Building With The Books Of The Bible" and they have a tower of Lego blocks stacked, with each book of the Bible listed on a block. I thought this was a cute way to show all the books of the Bible, and conclude it with a Bible verse on the bottom:

"We work together to serve God. You are like God's field. You are like His building.
God has given me the grace to lay a foundation as a wise builder.
Now someone else is building on it. But each one should build carefully."
 1 Corinthians 3:9-10

This seems like a great Bible verse to start out with. I like that it talks about building, such as we do with Lego's. We Build! :) On each page that holds the Lego illustrations, is a quick summary of the Bible story put into a simpler explanation, for children to understand easier. Then they leave them with a Building Block Verse, great for memorization, or just to have a verse of the week for encouragement.

This is a fun Bible that Lego lover children would enjoy having. It is great in teaching them Bible stories and capturing their interest using Lego to help them better understand. I am looking forward to all the fun me and my son will have, using this Bible as a part of our homeschooling. Just a few days in and the first story my son wanted to read about and build was Jesus on the Cross! I love how he turned it into a Lego scene. Now my son has a better understanding for that story, and we have a memory to build off on. This is a great guiding book!
